Migraine and Depression Prevention

You Don't Need to Suffer any Longer

Imagine Being Pain Free!

Imagine Feeling Happy!

Introduction

A major breakthrough in biochemistry has led to a safe and effective method for treating migraine, depression, and other serotonin and norepinephrine disorders. Dr. John A. Allocca, a medical research scientist and former migraine sufferer, began his research with migraine headaches. He found that migraine headaches were related to low serotonin and norepinephrine and developed the world's first and only biochemical model of migraine headaches in 1997. As his research continued he found that low serotonin and norepinephrine was also related to many disorders and behaviors such as, Depression, Insomnia, Anger, Violence, Bipolar Syndrome, Decreased Sexuality, Increased Body Temperature, Increased Appetite for Carbohydrates, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Tinnitus, Fibromyalgia, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

"Beat depression, migraines - and everything in between - with this single serotonin-boosting breakthrough.
If you suffer from migraines, chances are good that your doctor's orders have never reached beyond the limits of simple pain management. And, if you suffer from chronic depression, the outlook for a future of safe and effective solutions have become even bleaker… But it's simply not true. And, if nothing else, SeratoninTM's lengthy track record is proof of that." Health Sciences Institute Newsletter, October 2007, Vol. 12, No. 4.

Imbalances in Serotonin and Norepinephrine Levels

Imbalances in brain chemistry, particularly neurotransmitter levels, have a large range of effects on emotions, behavior, and brain circulation. Neurotransmitters are chemical substances that pass signals between nerves. Serotonin and norepinephrine are the two main neurotransmitters used in the brain to control the size of blood vessels as well as other functions. These neurotransmitter levels can be diminished by allergic reactions, inflammation, poor absorption of nutrients into the brain, poor metabolism of nutrients in the brain, chemicals that deplete them, excessive depletion (over usage) lowering them or because there are not enough nutrients in the brain to produce more. Congestive bowel toxicity and intestinal dysbiosis play a major role in producing toxins that deplete serotonin and norepinephrine. Migraine, depression, insomnia, and more, have similar mechanisms and pathways, all resulting from a loss of serotonin and norepinephrine.

Various substances that trigger a loss of neurotransmitters include: Ingestion of various food allergins or sensitivities, Inhalation or ingestion of various chemicals (serotonin depleting and/or vasoconstrictive), Chemical sensitivities, Congestive bowel toxicity, Rapid changes in hormone levels, Rapid changes in barometric pressure, Head cold or sinus congestion, Rapid changes in blood sugar level, Structural defects or muscle tension, Candidiasis or other gastrointestinal disorders, Increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut syndrome), Magnesium deficiency or other vitamin, mineral, or protein deficiencies, Increased psychological anxiety or physical exertion, Dehydration, Inadequate exposure to sunlight, Liver/Gallbladder Problems.

The loss of serotonin and norepinephrine may be quantified in three stages. Stage 1 is the first level below normal whereby insomnia is experienced. Stage 2 is the next lower level whereby depression is experienced. Stage 3 is the next lower level whereby a migraine headache is experienced.

Migraine

The size of the blood vessels in your head as well as other functions, are controlled by signals transmitted along nerves. Neurotransmitters are chemical substances that pass signals along nerves. Normally, a part of your brain sends signals along the nerves to keep the blood vessels in your head at a constant size. However, if there are not enough neurotransmitters in the brain to control the size of the blood vessels in your head, they will continually enlarge until they cannot stretch any longer. The enlarged blood vessels will create a tremendous amount of pain, hence the migraine headache.

Depression

The loss of serotonin and norepinephrine is linked to depression. One of the long-term effects of antidepressant drugs is that they deplete serotonin receptors in the brain. There are also many other effects of these drugs such as violent behavior, suicide, and more. Serotonin and norepinephrine levels can be increased naturally through supplementation and diet without adverse side effects.

Bipolar Syndrome

Many people, especially children have poor diets resulting from high toxin levels and low nutrient levels, which can lead to low serotonin levels in the brain. Low levels of serotonin and low levels of norepinephrine can cause depression. Consequently, they will experience depression and fatigue and pursue stimulants such as coffee and soft drinks containing high amounts of caffeine. The caffeine causes an increase in cortisol, epinephrine, and norepinephrine levels in the brain. When there are low serotonin and high norepinephrine levels in the brain, an individual may exhibit manic behavior and when high enough, violence. This is the biochemical foundation of the bipolar syndrome.

The Neurobiology Formula and Diet

The Neurobiology Formula (SeratoninTM) is a patented formula designed to supply the nutrients required to facilitate the production of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, decrease allergic reactions, and normalize glucose levels. Daily intake of this formula will help to maintain prevention. All of the ingredients in the Neurobiology Formula are nutrients one should be getting in their diet. However, one may not be getting a sufficient quantity of them to meet their particular needs. Physicians have recommended this formula during pregnancy.

SeratoninTM Ingredients: Magnesium Citrate, L-5-Hydroxytryptophan, Quercetin, Calcium Citrate, Calcium Ascorbate, Zinc Citrate, Inositol hexanicotinate, Choline Citrate, Trimethylglycine, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Vanadyl Sulfate, Copper Sebecate, Chromium Nicotinate, Pyridoxine HCL, and Folic Acid.

This formula and protocol has been used successfully since 1997. A study by the Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2002 found the Neurobiology formula to be effective for chronic migraine sufferers.

Eliminating foods, especially tyramine containing foods, from the diet can help to eliminate the loss of serotonin and norepinephrine.

Individuals who live high stress lifestyles, anxiety, and bipolar syndrome should not take tyrosine. Individuals who are depressed should take tyrosine or phenylalanine.
The starter kit (4 weeks) pays special attention to complications such as, increased intestinal Candida albicans, intestinal dysbiosis, liver and bowel toxicity, etc. The starter kit contains, SeratoninTM, Detoxanol, Oregano Oil, GI Flora, and the guidebook. After the first 4 weeks, only SeratoninTM will be needed on a daily basis.

About the Author

Dr. Allocca suffered from migraine headaches for 40 years, since he was 8 years old. He spent many nights on the bathroom floor vomiting. He had to cancel many events in his life or struggle through them in enormous pain from migraine headaches. Sometimes he was too sick to drive home. People would make comments behind his back that he was a baby, carrying on so about a headache. He avoided all the triggers and still got migraines. He took all the medications available, hoping for some relief, only to be disappointed because nothing worked.

As a medical research scientist, he studied the problem for 28 years to find some relief for himself and for all the people who also suffered from migraine headaches. Finally, in 1996, he discovered the exact mechanism that cause migraine headaches and developed the Neurobiology Formula 12397 and protocol. He tested the formula for the first time on January 23, 1997. He has been migraine free since then. The members of his family who also suffered from migraine headaches are also migraine free.

Testimonials

Katherine from Virginia writes, Since the age of six, I have lived a life consumed by migraine headaches. I developed migraines in the first grade. Most of the adults in my life doubted the reality of the pain, often saying, "kids don't get headaches." It was not until years later that doctors would prescribe any preventative medication. Later in my adult life, my mother described me as a glassy-eyed child that she felt as though she could do nothing to help. Throughout my adolescence and young adulthood, I was given a variety of seizure drugs, antidepressants and blood pressure medications to prevent these painful episodes. At times, I was having migraines five to six days per week. I became a very meticulous and organized individual because I never knew when the next headache would occur.

I was lucky enough to have periods of time when the medications greatly decreased my migraines; however, this was usually short-lived, and I always used a stead stream of strong and dangerous pain relief medications. I experienced very serious side effects which resulted in several hospitalizations. I felt as though I was destined to have a life that was daily determined by my level of pain. I began to accept this as my fate in life and functioned as well as I possibly could. As I grew older and married, my husband and I began to talk about having children. When I consulted my doctors, most of them were very negative and discouraged my ever becoming pregnant. I was told that not preventative medications were safe during pregnancy, and I was either going to have to risk hurting my unborn child or endure the pain. After conducting my own research, I was left with no more encouraging answers than the ones given by my doctors.

I was beginning to believe that I would have to make this very difficult and painful decision, when I was given information about the Neurobiology program. I had been praying for a solution to my problem and I truly believe that this program was an answer to my prayers. I called and consulted with such caring and helpful people. They helped me to begin the program within one week of my call. I had no idea what joy and freedom were to come from this decision.

I have been on this program for three months. Not only have my migraines been alleviated, but I am now pregnant and continue to be headache free. My OB/GYN has agreed that the Neurobiology vitamins are safe to take during pregnancy and I have had no difficulties thus far.

I am now living a life that is not dictated by pain or the fear of it. I am free to make plans without the worry that I may have to cancel them because of a migraine. This answered prayer has changed my life forever. I would recommend Neurobiology to any chronic migraine sufferer, even the ones like me who thought they had tried everything. I feel like a new person, and I would love to share this with as many people as possible.

Ron from California writes, Dr. Allocca, I am a member of HSI and read their article about your Serotonin product. While I don't have any migraine problems, I've had a lot of other problems relating to depression and anxiety and panic.

Just let me say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this product. I received it on Thursday of last week and took my first dose of 3 capsules on Friday. I have never felt so good in my entire life. If you should want any further information as to my life experiences that led me to try your product, I will be happy to elaborate. But just let me say that I have had several very traumatic experiences in my life that I have gotten the necessary treatment for. And as far as those things are concerned, I feel that I have dealt with them. However, I have continued to have a sort of anxiety running sort of in the background if you will. Because of this, I have suffered from pains in my stomach, pains in my chest, obsessive thoughts etc.

From the first day that I took Serotonin, these symptoms have all disappeared. In their place is a wonderful feeling of positivity, confidence, just an overall wonderful outlook. I am much more relaxed, and in checking my blood pressure, there seems to be an improvement there too.

I don't get placebo effects from the things I've tried, and I have tried many. Most all did little or nothing. Particularly the prescription anti-depressants.

Again thank you for giving me back my life, I feel REALLY GREAT!
